Announcements

Baby Shower for Dan and Karla Mathis will be next Sunday, June 8th from 4-5:30pm. There is a need for a few more hostesses so please see Penny Pirtle or Michelle Richardson if you can help. Also, if you would like to contribute toward a gift, give your money to Penny. Karla needs a stroller/car seat and this is her last shower.

Bowling at Holiday Bowl will be Saturday, June 29th at 4pm. It's Family Day so there will be no evening service.

With the resignation of 3 youth deacons, the youth group would like to see young couples involved with their activities. If there are any activities you are able to be a part of, please see Aubrey. There will be a cookout next Saturday, June 7th, at the church that will help kick off the summer and all are welcome to attend.

Small group sign up for the church this fall has now started. There were forms passed out today in class. Be sure and turn it in to the Welcome Center.

Matthew Lee, Penny Pirtle's 16-year-old nephew, will be having surgery soon from a staff infection in his arm and may be in a cast. He lives in Minnesota.

Pray for the Wagoners as they will be traveling to Europe next Sunday.

Be in prayer for the East Brainerd church.

Since we have started a new quarter, we are in need of a teacher(s). We ask that everyone think about who might be a good teacher for our class for the quarter and approach them to see what their thoughts are. We are also considering having co-teachers from our own class so please be in thought and prayer this week as to who you think will be a good choice. We will bring our suggestions to everyone next week during class. Rick Schwieter, Eric's father, will be teaching our class next week.
